After completing a year’s worth of successful capital improvement projects ranging from roof replacement, window replacement, kitchen installation, decoration, carpeting and joinery, Rejus were pleased to donate to the school PTA Charity a donation of £1,225.00
This will be used to support the refurbishment and restocking of the school library, with a project target of £7,500.
Mathew Lynds said “We were delighted to be able to help, not only in this small contribution but also in saving the school money on these projects which were delivered on time, safely and under budget. This has allowed the school to use the money where it is most needed, with the children.” Headteacher Janet Sanderson said “It has been a pleasure to work with Rejus this year. The team are very accommodating; they have worked with us to ensure that all works undertaken have not impacted negatively on the children’s learning. They have been courteous and caring, their work has been of a high standard and they have even tidied up after themselves! I am sure that we will be working in partnership again as we continue with our premises improvement schedule.
The brief from the school started last summer where they wanted a competitive price for carrying out a major replacement window programme, and decoration through the school, alterations to classrooms and fitting of modern looking doors to lift the appearance of the school. This was followed by securing areas of the school with high spec security fencing and making alterations to the school access road. We then undertook some major internal works by carrying out alterations to a core area and fitting out as design technology area, including a kitchen which was fitted at cost.
The final project was re-roofing a significant area of the school.
All in all, a great year!
